Allianz to scrap RCM brand across UK and offshore fund ranges

The changes, which the group said will simplify and unify its fund names and provide more transparency, follows Allianz's September 2011 decision to restructure its asset management business into two separate divisions - Allianz Global Investors and PIMCO. The bulk of the changes will commence on 30 March, when Allianz will remove the RCM name from 20 offshore funds and 23 funds in its domestic German market.
