Ex-Aviva Investors MM research head Aylward joins Punter Southall Aspire

Aviva Investors' former head of multi-manager research Ian Aylward, who left the firm in March, has joined Punter Southall Aspire, a workplace pensions and savings business.

Aylward (pictured) joins the firm as investment director, head of DC manager research. He spent five years at Aviva Investors, having founded its multi-manager team, and has also worked as co-head of manager research at Skandia Investment Group. He has also previously worked as a fund manager with Collins Stewart Asset Management and Rothschild Asset Management. The appointment forms part of a string of senior hires for Punter Southall Aspire.
