Brooks Macdonald London boss and investment director exits

Brooks Macdonald senior investment director and head of London George Bromfield has departed after 16 years at the firm.

The company has confirmed Bromfield's exit and thanked him for his contribution. Brooks Macdonald and IG Group scale back staff to cut costs Bromfield has spent the length of his career at Brooks Macdonald, after joining in 2007 as a trainee and holding several roles in the company over the years. He started in his most recent position as senior investment director and head of London in 2022. This news follows the firm's announcement of cost-saving job cuts in October.
