European Assets appoints International Biotech trust chair to its board

The chair of the International Biotechnology trust, Kate Cornish-Bowden, has been appointed to the board of the European Assets trust.

Cornish-Bowden is currently a non-executive director of Finsbury Growth & Income and CC Japan Income & Growth trusts as well, the latter of which she chairs the audit committee for. Schroder Oriental Income fund director departs She was formerly director of the Schroder Oriental Income fund, but she departed from the role in November 2023 after the International Biotechnology trust appointed Schroders as the firm's alternative investment fund manager in August, with the move coming into effect later that year.
