Fewer than half of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) are investing in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) due to scepticism and perceived lack of returns, according to the third edition of the Saltus Wealth Index. Fewer than half (44%) invest in ESG, but there are rising levels of scepticism around the robustness and legitimacy of green and social impact funds.
