Legg Mason has launched an Asia-focused unconstrained strategy through its affiliate Martin Currie.

The Legg Mason IF Martin Currie Asia Unconstrained fund will seek to capture Asian economic growth, excluding Japan, through a concentrated portfolio of 20 to 40 high-quality companies. The UK-domiciled, daily-traded fund will be managed by Martin Currie's head of Asia, Andrew Graham and fellow portfolio manager Paul Danes, who will look for growth business with high free cash flow, demonstrating strong stewardship of capital.
