Octopus unveils UK Multi Cap Income fund for McVey

Octopus Investments is set to launch the Octopus UK Multi Cap Income fund in response to increasing investor demand for income, Investment Week can reveal.

The new fund, which will be managed by Chris McVey, will officially launch on 10 December and comes as investors seek income in the current low interest rate environment. However, the group found there is signifcant concentration in the UK income sector with three quarters of traditional income funds holding the ten stocks in the FTSE 100 that represent some 54% of forecast dividend payments for 2018.
