Rosengarten joins Smith & Williamson as head of funds

Eden Asset Management founder and former M&G equities head Ed Rosengarten has joined Smith & Williamson as head of its funds business.

Rosengarten (pictured) started in the role yesterday (12 May) and is now responsible for fund performance as well as overall strategy, product development and distribution at the business. He will also become a member of Smith & Williamson's investment management and banking board, subject to FCA confirmation. Rosengarten founded Eden Asset Management in 2011, leaving the business last year following its acquisition by City Financial.
