Towry has confirmed Andrew Wilson will leave his role as head of investments after a 22-year stint amid team restructures at the firm.
Wilson (pictured) joined the firm in 1994, when it was known as John Scott & Partners and was appointed investment director in 1996. Since then Wilson has managed multi-manager and multi-asset class portfolios, focusing on fund research, portfolio construction and risk analysis. Following the acquisition of Towry by Tilney Bestinvest, managing director for Tilney Bestinvest Jason Hollands confirmed that Wilson would continue his duties for the coming months to oversee the integration process.
