JP Morgan Asset Management has reopened its Emerging Markets Opportunities fund, nearly five years after soft closing it.
The strategy was soft closed in July 2019 when it hit nearly $3.6bn in assets, with further restrictions imposed in May 2021, when the fund grew to $5.5bn, despite not allowing any new investor money in the fund. The company removed limits on daily allocations to the fund at the beginning of 2023.
