Asian emerging markets have been no stranger to turbulence in the last 18 months.

Many of the asset class's leading countries struggled to participate in the vaccine-inspired global recovery as they battled to emerge from the pandemic. Meanwhile China, Asia's main growth engine and the leading market in our universe, had to contend with domestic property sector struggles in addition to Covid lockdowns.
