Thesis' head of MPS leaves for Morningstar

Thesis Asset Management's head of model portfolio service (MPS) Edward Fane is set to leave for research company Morningstar in June.

Fane (pictured), who worked at Thesis for 10 years, will take on the role of senior investment consultant at Morningstar Investment Management EMEA. At Thesis he was in charge of the MPS and also co-managed Thesis' Optima + fund of funds range. But there will be no changes to the MPS or Optima's investment process, which will be run by fund management associate director Steven Richards and the rest of the team following Fane's departure, Richards said.
