Warren Buffett's firm Berkshire Hathaway has begun investing in Amazon for the first time, with Buffett admitting he has "been an idiot for not buying".
In an interview with CNBC, Buffett said an investment manager at Berkshire Hathaway had been buying into Amazon, likely to be one of his deputies, Todd Combs or Ted Weschler, who each manage equity portfolios with more than $13bn in assets under management.
