Natixis Investment Managers affiliate Thematics Asset Management has launched the Thematics Climate Selection fund to target companies with a “clear decarbonisation trajectory”.
The firm explained the multi-thematic strategy will focus on companies with emission trajectories that are aligned with the Paris Agreement of keeping "the increase in the global average temperature to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels" and pursue efforts "to limit the temperature increase to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels." The fund's investment universe will span Thematics AM's five strategies - namely AI and robotics, safety, the subscription economy, water and wellness - with a portfolio of 40-60 holdings.
