The Labour Party has unveiled its agenda for the financial services sector ahead of the upcoming General Election, which includes the simplification of the ISA landscape.

The six-point plan focuses on driving greater growth and increasing international influence for the UK financial services sector, with pledges spanning from the creation of regional financial centres to the streamlining of regulation. Labour vowed to "reinvigorate" the UK capital markets to boost institutional investment in venture capital, small cap growth equity as well as growth capital, alongside reforms to enable greater consolidation of retirement schemes.
